Eric A Shapiro MD Memorial Fund

Campaign Goal: Ambulance Maintenance - $54,000

Message to donors:

My husband, Eric A Shapiro MD, embodied the image of the small-town doctor who took care of all, regardless of background or circumstance. He cared about each one of his patients and always went out of his way to make sure they got exactly what they needed. In his personal life, he was a very involved, loving father, husband, son, brother, cousin and friend and an enthusiastic supporter of Israel. His dream was to ultimately retire there and give tours of his beloved land. In 2007 he was taken from us, aged 52, leaving so many of us bereft and heartbroken. I want to help sponsor an ambulance for Magen David Adom, and donate it to the people of Israel in his memory. I am trying to raise $54,000 to help keep the ambulance on the road. We are close to our goal and need your help. Please consider a donation in Eric’s memory, and to the future of Am Yisrael.
