Temple Beth Shalom ♥ Magen David Adom
Campaign Goal: $720
Message to donors:
In times of crisis, standing with Israel’s frontline responders isn’t just a political statement—it’s a moral obligation. Magen David Adom is Israel’s national ambulance, blood, and disaster-relief organization. Its teams are saving lives under fire, every single day.
At Temple Beth Shalom, we are proud to be a part of the global Jewish community. Supporting MDA connects us to Am Yisrael in the most immediate and human way—through saving lives.
This fundraiser was inspired by members of our own community, Dr. Pam Becker and Dr. Marc Stewart, for whom this cause is deeply personal. It also gives us, as a synagogue, an opportunity to show that we are engaged in the broader world and care about Jews beyond our walls. In doing so, we honor the values of klal Yisrael—our responsibility to one another.
We hope you’ll join us in making a real difference where it matters most.

About Magen David Adom
Magen David Adom (MDA) is Israel’s emergency services system – responding to those in need and transporting over 1 million patients annually; providing blood services to hospitals and the IDF; and delivering disaster relief around the world. As a non-governmental organization, MDA depends on philanthropy.
