Emergency Medicycle Campaign to Save Lives in Israel

Campaign Goal: $180,000

Message to donors:

From the Desks of Gary Hertzberg, Michael Neider & Randy Weiss:

Following our beautiful event at Woodfield Country Club on December 2nd with Ben Anthony, and in consultation with American Friends of Magen David Adom, we have decided to spearhead an emergency Medicycle campaign to help get these urgently needed vehicles on the road.

Medicycles are rapid-response emergency vehicles, staffed by highly trained MDA medics and positioned outside of traditional ambulance stations in the communities they serve. They are often the first to arrive on scene, allowing medics to begin triage and lifesaving care while ambulances are en route. The speed of response and the advanced training of these medics have proven to be critical in saving lives—whether responding to cardiac emergencies, serious accidents, or acts of terror.

Together, we have committed to sponsoring five Medicycles—creating a meaningful and immediate impact for our brothers and sisters in Israel—through a $180,000 campaign. Already, three Woodfield families have each stepped forward to sponsor one Medicycle, helping launch this lifesaving effort. Collectively, five Medicycles will conservatively respond to more than 30,000 emergency calls over the next five years, depending on where they are stationed—keeping Israelis safe and healthy when help is needed most. A dedication event is planned for December 2026, and we hope you will join us in this powerful mission to help save lives.
