Please join us in honoring the memory of Staff Sgt. Omer Van Gelder z”l — a beloved fallen IDF combat medic and hero. Omer, the son of my dear childhood friend Tehila, was known for his infectious positivity, sharp wit, and deep compassion. He was a devoted Magen David Adom volunteer who dreamed of becoming a doctor to continue saving lives after his service. His loss has left a deep void in the hearts of all who knew him.
To honor his life cut tragically short, we’re raising funds to donate three HeartSine 350P defibrillators to high-need areas across Israel. These life-saving devices will carry forward Omer’s mission of helping others.
