Bergen County Ambulance Campaign for Magen David Adom

Campaign Goal: $115,000

Message to donors:

As the national, non-government, medical emergency organization of Israel, Magen David Adom treats and transports more than 900,000 Israelis to hospitals each year. Every 27 seconds MDA answers an emergency call.

Like every nation, Israel faces routine daily emergencies such as heart attacks, car accidents and births. But Israel must also confront unique challenges of war/terrorist attacks that require a particularly robust fleet of ambulances.

And Bergen County is part of that.

In fact, Bergen County residents sent their first ambulance to Israel in 2015. Since that time, it has responded to over 5,000 emergencies. Due to rising tensions in the region, Magen David Adom needs our help now more than ever.

Bergen County residents have come together to send additional ambulances over the last 10 years. The goal is to raise $115,000 before December 31, 2025 and deliver another lifesaving ambulance.

You can make a significant difference. Please join in our efforts to aid Magen David Adom so that, together, we can help them in their crucial and indispensable work.

If you prefer paying by check, please make check payable and send to:

AMFDA, 20 West 36th Street – 11th Floor, New York, NY 10018. (Kindly note "Bergen County Ambulance" in the check memo)

With much thanks and appreciation,

Esther and Elie Y. Katz, Campaign Chairs
